Digital Product Release Use Cases

 I recently attended a Modern Change Academy Webinar on Digital Product Release (2025-02-27).  In it,the host mentioned DPR is not suitable for Hardware upgrades such as Infrastructure Releases.  To further clarify, I believe the statement was similar to "DPR is focused on Software Releases".
I was only able to find one small section of an FAQ that confirms this and it's from 2024-04-01.  Can anyone please confirm this is truly still the case?
 I also believe I read that it's suggested to use a third-party tool such as ansible in conjunction with Change Release instead of DPR.  Could you also confirm this approach?  If this is not correct, could you please provide info on the recommended approach(es)?

Yes, your understanding is correct. DPR is currently only for software releases. We can integrate DPR with third-party systems to enhance its functionality. Here’s a screenshot.
