  • Product enhancements is not getting created when the same exists already. Is this an OOB setup??
  • Also work item is getting assigned with multiple work items as a child. Can we remove the linkage of those?

  • Product enhancements are not being created if they already exist. Is this an OOB setup?

A product enhancement will be created only once whenever a new top-level Epic is added to the sn_devops_work_item table.

If needed, you can manually create additional product enhancements using the product manager role.

  • Also, a work item is being assigned multiple child work items. Can we remove these linkages?

If you do not want this, ensure that the relationship in the sn_devops_work_item table does not have a parent value for another work item; otherwise, it will display as linked.
