Facing Issues while trying to integrate DPR with GitHub

Hi All,

 

I am trying to integrate ServiceNow DPR with GitHub as per documentation Onboard GitHub using Workspace • Zurich IT Service Management • Docs | ServiceNow . In the Tool Setup page i am getting below error as below.

Alert level: Critical.

Tool cannot be created because the tool URL is invalid. Enter a valid URL,and try again.
See the troubleshooting tool on-boarding errors.
 
Troubleshooting steps says to reenter the url and even after i reenter there is no use and that url which i am entering does exists and i have permissions to it. please suggest on what exactly is this error and how to troubleshoot.

Hi @RC19 ,

Based on the URL you’ve shared, this appears to be a GitHub Cloud Enterprise setup rather than an on‑prem Enterprise instance. For GitHub Cloud Enterprise, please select GitHub instead of GitHub Enterprise.

I did try selecting GitHub but no luck. Still the same error.

Can you please try without changing the default URL. In case you are getting any error, please share the error details (preferably from sn_devops_log), response from outbound http request.

This generally happens if you do not provide url / credential record. Or, If mid server option is selected but no mid server is provided. Can you please reverify that all the required values were provided? Also, instead of resuming tool creation for already created tool, try connecting a fresh.
