Currently, DPR is focused on validating that a release is ready for deployment and we then hand off to change management to manage the deployment process; so we don’t have a way to shorten phases below a day. The Stage-oriented release process might be a workaround for now.
However, we have been getting feedback from customers that they need a solution to help with the deployment process in conjunction with change management. We are currently working on what that will look like. While I don’t have a timeline that I can share yet, it is on our backlog and we are working on where it needs to be on our roadmap.
I appreciate the request. If there is any additional information that you think would be helpful for us to know, please post it. One of the things that would be helpful for us to to understand the size and complexity of your current process. For instance, are there multiple products with dependencies, is it one product that you deploy only one time or multiple times? Any details would help.
