Hi,
I just wanted to ask if anyone knows what the status field of a release means in Digital Product Release Workspace?
Why is it green, amber or red?
Thank you for the help.

Hello @Hermes14
Yes these are the values of "Status" field. Those "Orange , green grey" are not for status field they are state field and they are color coded just.
For the status, its these three, green amber and red.
Kindly mark my answer as helpful and accept solution if it helped you in anyway. This will help me be recognized for the efforts and also move this questions from unsolved to solved bucket.

Traditionally Release Managers track the RAG (Red, Amber, Green) status of Release Cycle progress, it indicates if the Release cycle progress is on track as per planned timelines or not.
DPR provides this feature through status (which can be read as RAG Status as most of the organizations call this way)
In Timeline Oriented Release Templates: This RAG status is being auto calculated by DPR based on the number of tasks pending and policies not yet compliant versus the number of days remaining before Release Target Date. (Which I personally feel is a good feature)
In Stage wise Release Templates: This RAG status has to be manually updated by Release Coordinator or Release Manager.
