We’re excited to announce the first plugin release following the Moveworks acquisition by ServiceNow: Moveworks for Employee Center.
This new plugin enables organizations to integrate Moveworks’ AI-powered conversational experience directly into ServiceNow Employee Center and Employee Center Pro.
What is Moveworks for Employee Center?
Moveworks for Employee Center application automated the steps required to embed Movework’s AI assistant directly into ServiceNow’s Employee Center portal.
The plugin replaces the standard Virtual Agent with Moveworks’ conversational AI, creating a unified support experience across enterprise systems. This helps employees resolve issues faster and enables IT teams to operate more efficiently. The assistant is available in both Employee Center and Employee Center Pro.
Search on the Employee Center homepage continues to be powered by ServiceNow AI Search or, for customers entitled to Now Assist, by the Now Assist AI Search experience. For customers who have enabled enhanced chat through Now Assist, enabling Moveworks will replace the enhanced chat experience with the Moveworks conversational assistant.
Note: Customers must already be licensed for both Moveworks and Employee Center. The plugin automates the integration process.

How to Get Access License & family release compatibility - Moveworks for Employee Center is available to ServiceNow customers with active Employee Center licenses. Contact your ServiceNow account team for Moveworks licensing and deployment details.
Plugin required - Install the Moveworks for Employee Center plugin (sn_ex_mw_chat_int), from the ServiceNow Store. Before installing, ensure that either of the following applications are active: Employee Center (sn_ex_sp) or Employee Center Pro (sn_ex_sp_pro).

After configuration, the assistant integrates with Employee Center features such as knowledge articles, service requests, and task management.
