1. Request page enhancements: List view and new opt-in experience
We’re introducing an interactive list view for the Requests page, providing employees with an additional way to review and manage their requests alongside the existing card layout.
In the same release, we have also introduced a new opt-in setup page for the Enhanced Request Experience. This updated configuration page provides clearer documentation and allows organizations to independently enable the enhanced experience for desktop and mobile environments.
Here are the key Features of the Request page enhancements:
1. Interactive List View on the Requests Page - The Requests page now supports a list view alongside the existing card view. Users can easily switch between the two layouts using a toggle button on the page. The list view provides a table-like layout that allows users to scan and review more requests at once. Once selected, the chosen view persists across tabs and navigation, ensuring a consistent experience. This toggle capability is available across different request sections, including draft requests.
2. New Opt-In Setup Page for Request Experience - To simplify configuration, the Enhanced Request Experience now includes a new setup module called ‘Setup Enhanced Request Experience’ with a clearer and more structured interface. The updated opt-in page provides built-in documentation to help administrators understand the feature and offers separate opt-in controls for desktop and mobile experiences, allowing organizations to enable the enhancement independently across platforms.

2. Request page enhancements on Now Mobile
We’re extending the Enhanced Request Experience to mobile devices, enabling employees to easily find, review, and manage their requests directly from their devices. This enhancement brings the full request management experience from the portal to mobile, ensuring feature parity and eliminating the need to configure or maintain separate experiences across platforms.
- Tabbed request views- The mobile Requests page includes dedicated tabs such as Created for me and Created for others, along with any custom tabs configured by the organization. These tabs make it easier for users to quickly navigate between different request types.
- Dynamic tab visibility- Tabs automatically appear or hide based on user criteria, ensuring employees only see request categories that are relevant to them.
- Advanced mobile filters- Configurable filters, including out-of-the-box filters for updated and status, allow users to quickly narrow down results while on the go. Filters appear as a bottom-sheet interface where users can select or remove filter options and apply them instantly.
- Search across requests- Employees can quickly search across all their requests from mobile, helping them locate specific requests faster.
- Key request details surfaced upfront- Important information is displayed directly within each request entry, reducing the need for additional taps or scrolling.
- Consistent experience across the portal and mobile experience- requests, tabs, filters, and search functionality are shared, ensuring consistency and eliminating the need to configure the same components twice.
It is important to note that while the portal supports both card and list views, the mobile interface provides a single, optimized stacked list view designed specifically for smaller screens.

3. Outlook Actionable Messages: Migration to Microsoft Entra ID Authentication
Outlook Actionable Messages (OAM) are moving from EAT (External Access Token) to Microsoft Entra ID token authentication. With the retirement of External Access Token (EAT) authentication for Outlook Actionable Messages scheduled for March 31, 2026, any actionable messages dependent on EAT will stop working beyond this date. Partners using EAT tokens must update their integration to support AAD tokens for requests from the AM service.
To ensure uninterrupted functionality with actionable messages, you must migrate to Microsoft Entra ID token authentication and update the Outlook Actionable Messages app registration in your ServiceNow instance. For a step-by-step guide on this migration process, kindly visit: Update Outlook Actionable Messages authentication to Microsoft Entra ID
