AI Search for Record Producer - Typo Handling not Functioning

I am having issues with the AI Search assist widget on a record producer not properly applying the typo handling function to search terms.

 

-Record Producer Configuration is set up for the producer and pointing to the [AI Search Assist] - Incident Deflection

-[AI Search Assist] - Incident Deflection is pointing to the [AI Search Assist] - KB and Catalog search profile

-[AI Search Assist] - KB and Catalog profile has the [AI Search Assist] - KB and Catalog default spell check dictionary set for typo handling, and has kb_knowledge and sc_cat_item set as the indexed sources.

-All records are active

-Typo handling does work properly using the search bar outside of the record producer

 

Yet, results are as follows:

With typo:

Any help would be appreciated.

Does Typo Handling not work for ALL words or just some?

hi @ZacharyB3535501 - please make sure that below configurations are done correctly

  • The Enable AI Search flag on the Portal (sp_portal) is active
  • [AI Search Assist] - Incident Deflection Search Application Configuration record is active with 'Enable Typo Handling' as true
  • [AI Search Assist] - KB and Catalog Search Profile is active and published (check configuration under Typo Handling related list)
  • The record producer variable for AI Search Assist is created for the associated record producer and the variable is active (check configuration under 'Record producer information' related list on Record Producer Configuration record)

Thanks for the response.

 

-AI search is enabled on this portal

-Search Assist record config is active

-Search Profile is active and published - I also tried to re-publish, unfortunately this did not help

-Search Assist variable is present on record producer

 

-RE: the linked KB - Unfortunately this KB would only be valid for my issue if the search was returning a result that contained the same mis-spelling, however, as per my screenshot, a mis-spelled word returns no results at all.
