I am trying to figure out what the main difference between these pages is. I know that ec_standard_home is associated with the most recent release of Employee center, and ec_dashboard is associated with the oldest, but I don't really understand what changes have been made to the page. I found one community post that suggested that ec_dashboard is better for data and analytics and ec_home is better for user engagement, but there wasn't really a clear explanation as to why this is the case.

Hi @DanielBlauvelt ,
ec_dashboard (the older one):
Built for showing data, metrics, and performance tracking
Think of it like a control panel with charts and numbers
Good if employees need to monitor tasks, tickets, or KPIs
More business/analytics focused
ec_standard_home (the newer one):
Built as a welcoming landing page for employees
More about navigation, announcements, and quick access to services
Think of it like a company portal homepage
Better for general employee experience and engagement
The older ec_dashboard was very data-heavy. The newer ec_standard_home focuses more on making employees' lives easier with a friendlier interface and better navigation.
