I believe you are asking about how to obtain a Personal Developer instance (PDI) , you can login here https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do and request latest version i.e Vancouver , and once logged in

Search for All > Plugins

Search for Employee Center Pro (sn_ex_sp_pro) plugin and click install

Hello @NidhalZ86 ,
To get your instance name, Go to sys_properties table and search for "instance_name" property. Its value shows your current instance name.

I hope this helps. Mark my answer correct & Like Helpful, if Applicable.

Is Employee Center still available on a PDI? I have a new PDI and when I go to plugins, 'Employee Center' (plus  many other apps) do not appear in the list of available plugins. In fact, I don't even have access to 'plugins' via Menu Navigator.

I have changed my user role to 'Admin' so don't know if I am missing something else?

Hi @Miriam Lane ,

Yes, Employee Center is available on a PDI. Search in the filter navigator with "Employee Center" and open the link under Self-Service. (PDI shoud be a latest version)
and If you are Admin, 'plugins' should be visible to you. Please check the below image :
