Employee center notification/announment in portal

Hi,

We recently upgraded our sub-prod instance to San Diego after that we see one announcement is displaying in portal. Can anyone know about it.

Can we disable it??

You can refer to this LINK.
Regarding disabling concern, yes you can do it by going to the announcement table and searching for the record name as "Employee Center store app download" and just uncheck the active field and save it.

Hi there,

This announcement, is only visible for sp_admin. So no worries that it's visible to end users etc..

As any announcement record, you could disable it through the active field.
