Employee Center Pro – Unable to See Profile/Banner Image Edit Option (Camera Icon)

Hi Team,

I am currently working on Employee Center Pro (ESC Pro) and trying to update the profile picture and banner image from the Employee Profile page.

As per the documentation, there should be a camera/pencil icon available on the profile/banner image to upload or edit images. However, in my case:

  • I am using Employee Center Pro
  • I have admin access
  • Required plugins are active
  • I am accessing my own profile
  • The page/components appear to be OOTB (no customization)

Despite this, I am not able to see the camera/edit icon on either the profile image or the banner.

Is this edit functionality (camera icon for profile/banner image) available OOTB in Employee Center Pro?
Has anyone implemented this in ESC Pro, and if so, what approach is recommended?
Version: Zurich

Any guidance or confirmation would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @RahulS005039023

Just validate it as per following steps mentioned in Update the Employee Profile banner and profile images

Role required: Employee Profile user

  1. Navigate to Self-Service > Employee Center.
  2. Go to the user avatar and select Profile.
  3. Select the camera icon and then select Browse image on the welcome screen to select an image to upload, For the first time.
The Add cover image welcome screen mentions all the file types accepted for the banner image.
  4. Optional: You can edit the image by using the updated editing options, such as, Rotate, Zoom, Flip, and Drag to reposition image.
If you want to undo or redo the changes made to the picture, click Reset to take the image back to its initial-uploaded state.
  5. Optional: There are two more options visible on the initial upload screen to change the image or upload the current one.
    • Change image
    • Apply
  6. After the initial upload, the Edit cover image screen has an extra Remove image option, which takes you back to the default banner image.
