In portal make variable editable after RP submitted

HI Team, 

In service portal we have submitted Record producer and demand is created. in portal if i open same demand i can able to see variables in portal i need to make one variable editable. 

variable name is : watch list.

if we make editable and its need to select multiple user to add newly added user need to save back end demand record.

You cannot make this widget editable for some variables as this one build specifically to show variable summary. I will suggest creating a custom widget to update watchlist and update record in backend record once saved.

I dont have any specific code that will work for you but can look into how the "Standard Ticket Tab" (std_ticket_tab) widget is created to show variable summary using this you can create your own to update the records. 

But if you don't want to complicate things. Just go with "Simple List " Widget and Link this to form widget to and update records as native UI.

seems you are on my request page where it simply shows the variable and you won't be able to edit

why you want end users to update variable after submission?
