Hi @jlance74 

Please follow the below steps:

1. In the Filter Navigator, navigate to Service Portal > Configuration.

2. Click on Designer.

3. Enter the Page ID in the search bar and open the page.

4. Once the page opens in Designer, search for the new widget and add it to the page.

5. Remove the old widget instance from the page.

Note: Removing the old widget from the page will only delete the widget instance from that page — it will not delete the widget itself.

Important: It is recommended to create  a copy of the OOB page  — avoid modifying the OOB page directly. Once an OOB record is modified, it will be skipped during upgrades, and you will need to review it.

Go to "Service Portal > Portals"

Open your ESC portal record

Open Home page record

Under "Home Page" record, you will find page content like this

Where you want to change your widget , replace it by clicking associated instance. 

e.g , I want to replace popular topics- click instance->go to widget tab->replace existing one by your new widget
