Would anyone know how to the knowledge article page to show when searching by number

Within Employee Center

When a user searches for a knowledge article by placing text in search it brings up the article in a nice readable format (page Knowledg [esc_kb_article_view]).

When a user searches for a knowledge article by the knowledge article number it brings up the article in form format similar to to what a knowldege manager would see when maintaining articles within the platform (page Form [form]).

 

Is there a way to always have the article come up in the portal in a nice readable format without all the extra fields when searching by article number in the portal?

I put in a HI case and found this is a known bug which is planned to be fixed in Vancouver.

As you mention this is an issue that will hopefully be resolved in Vancouver. 

 

Have you been able to resolve in the meantime? As there are a number of workarounds and solutions 

I am still working with the HI on this.  They recommended editing the "Typeahead Search" widget.  That widget is read only for us.
