Stage in RITM record is not getting updated in employee center portal when RITM record is updated

So to start with an obvious question, are you seeing this staging work correctly in a Service Portal, or platform UI, or is it only Employee Center that you can see this?
How is that stage being managed, through Flow Designer?
Unless you are 100% certain the Flow and staging is setup correctly and working as expected, that is the first place I would look. EC doesn't have any issues (that I am aware off) in relation to not showing stages correctly, so we would want to check your staging setup is correct first
