Are you still looking for help on this? It's not a straight-forward answer, because it will depend on what all was done. For example, was the OOB employee center homepage updated? Did you update the OOB Theme, Taxonomy, and Header Menu or clone to make updates? Were widgets customized? For everything that was cloned, you can just set back to the OOB versions (e.g., put the OOB EC Theme back on the EC portal record, put OOB widget back on portal page). For things that were customized, you can view the "Versions" and revert back to the OOB/store versions of the records. There may be Widget Instance Options/CSS that will need to be reverted back also. You can always compare your portal to a fresh install from a PDI.
