How would you depict an integration between 2 SaaS platforms that use in-platform apps?

Hello Everyone,
As an organisation we are building a list of all business applications and all digital interfaces/integrations, then using this as a basis for drawing our "application landscape".
This is pretty straight forward when a SaaS platform provides a list of APIs. But what do you do when 2 SaaS platforms connect by installing an in-platform app, and then logging into the in-platform app using the other platform's credentials?
I guess these can be considered as "connectors". But you have no way of knowing the internal way of data transfer or RPC.
My question is how would you denote these "integrations" in ServiceNow? The majority of our Digital Interfaces have a Protocol (under Functional) of "HTTPS". Would we still use this field and simply select "Proprietary" or "Other" as the Protocol? We would also not know the message format, authorisation type or other things normally associated with an API.
(on a side note on the functional protocol drop-down, "Proprietary" has been spelt as "Propietary")
Has anyone come across this problem before, and how did you document the "interface" of the installation of an in-platform app ?
Thanks for your help in advance.
Kind regards,
Mark
