Who's replacing Simpplr with ECP?

I have plans to scrap Simpplr and go with ECP next year, but I'm getting push back from my internal comms team in that they don't believe SN is a communications tool or a full landing page for Intranet/news.

If you are doing a Simpplr replacement OR have some advice on how to have Internal comms be a partner here....lets talk.

Hi @derek, we recently replaced our SharePoint intranet portal with ServiceNow ECP and it's been working well. ECP is one of the comms channels that is used to get information our to our employees and we're currently using a custom "Latest News" widget on the home page to do this. We're also evaluating the new News functionality that SN released to replace the custom widget as the process to create content using the Content Library is much easier than how we're doing it today with knowledge articles and creating full campaigns. Because of this, we've kept the publishing process internal to my team, but once we get to the OOB News functionality, the plan is to bring the Comms teams into the fold so they can directly create and publish news items for the portal.

@Community Alums - I was glad you connected with the other customers who are replacing Simpplr with ServiceNow as their intranet solution and those customers who evaluated Simpplr, but ultimately selected EC Pro.  It's an elegant way to save money, as well as, provide a more comprehensive experience to employees, which ironically simplifies everything for them.
