Google Maps in Dispatcher Workspace showing straight line instead of route

Hello,

In our Dispatcher Workspace, instead of displaying the actual route the agent should travel, it is only showing a straight-line calculation. I have already set the property to use "Google Maps API" to calculate the time and route, but it still displays a straight line in Google Maps.

May I know if any additional configuration is required on the Google side to make this work?

Below is the response I have received from SNOW support

1 - On the issue of the routes showing only straight line routes:

- Under Map settings "Enable simple straight line for drawing route" and "Enable simple straight line for drawing agent location history routes" are enabled. If enabled, it draws a straight line, else it draws actual route.

- Also, the instance's google api map key do not have directions service configured. Please activate the directions service from google maps console. With this, you can visualize the routes on map as well as on the optimize route modal.

this is not accurate from my experience, if you uncheck ''enable straight line'' it just removes the arrow

After enabling the direction API, it worked for me. Now it's showing the actual route
