I want to change the value of a variable after finding out the choice is a wrong option.

So, let's say the variable is domain and I selected ServiceNow as an option and the approval will be sent to ServiceNow team.

Team realizes it's not correct domain and need to change the domain themselves according to the comments provided by requested for. Then the same flow will run for the updated domain and approvals will be sent.

It should happen under same flow execution, how can I do this?

what you were able to configure till now?

 

as per mu understanding the flow should be :

  • Insert a Do the following logic block into your flow. Set the condition to run as long as the approval state is Rejected or like Rerouted.

  • Inside Do the following, add the Ask for Approval action where Approval goes to the group associated with the Domain field.
  • Also add an If block checking if the approval was Rejected. Inside this If block, add a Wait for Condition action.
  • Once the team updates the domain, the Wait for Condition is satisfied. The flow hits the end of the Do While loop, goes back to the top, evaluates the new domain.
