Make sure "Retain reference" checkbox on Archival rule set to true.

The "Retain Reference" checkbox in ServiceNow Archive Rules preserves sys_id values in reference fields during archiving, instead of converting them to display name strings. This keeps links in archived records clickable and maintains referential integrity to original records.
