Hello,
We have run data certifications on AWS cloud CIs (ex: Cloud Gateways, Load Balancers, DynamoDBs, etc). Each of these require a relationship to a Service Instance. In certifications you can't select fields from a child and parent CI to include in one task. We wanted to have the owners certify the typical fields on the infrastructure CI such as Environment, Business Unit, Support Group, Approval Group, etc as well as the App ID, Business App Name, Service Instance, and Service Instance Name that it is related to. In order to do this we created automation to populate the fields on each of the Cloud CI related tables. We realize this may cause tech debt by adding custom fields.
What are the best practice for running a certification this way?
Thank you,
Adam
