One option is to maintain the instances of the third party hosted application in the parent Application Service table (cmdb_ci_service_auto). This table does not require entry points. There is also an OOTB attribute on the Business Application CI called 'Install Type' which has an OOTB option called 'Third Party Hosted'. This attribute can be set to provide context about why the Application Service does not have any underlying infrastructure mapped.
