Applications and modules (Left hand side menus) visibility needs to be given to different roles/ users. It does not require any particular role although many of the applications/ modules will be visible to any ITIL user but many may not be. For an example- I have created one table and it will create application and Module automatically (Till the time I will not remove create module check box). This application and module will be visible to the user who created this table until he will give access of this application and module to any particular Role/ user.
