How to create a list view for a variable(reference field) on record producer(through Reference LookUp) ?

Hello Everyone,
I have a variable referring to X table on a record producer. When I click on Magnifying icon to view the list of records, I am getting field1,field2,field3 on list layout.
How to change this list view to get only 2 fields on list layout for this specific variable on record producer, it shouldn't be applied globally.
Is there any way to set attributes specific variable (or) to create any specific view for this?
Please advice.
