No, out of the box, once an Internal or External Assessment has been generated, you cannot change or override its assessment template or metric type. If the wrong template was used, the recommended approach is to cancel the existing assessment (if applicable), update the configuration, and generate a new assessment. This preserves assessment integrity and audit history.
