@mlamin I would be curious to understand more of the use case, but in lieu of that, I suggest using the advanced forms. These can work in the same way and OOtB provide a way for you to task others for input in the document. I see trying to change record producers to have input from multiple sources as a maintenance nightmare, not to mention how much work it would talk to do this. I am happy to chime in in more detail if you can provide more details of the use case. If you are not familiar with the Advanced Forms (Document Templates) here is a link to a video of a team member walking through this functionality.
