Image in the Service Portal getting truncated

Hi Community!

When a user pasted an image in the additional comments section and save it, the image is getting truncated/stuck. We are not getting the scroll bar to scroll vertically or horizontally as per the need. With this issue, user is not able to view full image that has been uploaded. I have checked the container width and I changed it from fixed to fluid which didn't solve the issue. I am good if the image shrinks so user can view all the image or getting a scroll bar to view the full image. I have attached the screenshot for the reference. Can you please help me to fix this issue?

happening all the time for all users or some users?

Hi @Imran4

1.

If this behavior is specifically affecting the Activity Stream on your SP

  1. Navigate to Service Portal > Pages and open the affected page
  2. Select the Ticket Conversations widget (or the custom activity stream widget you use).

Check its CSS. Refer: Restricting Height & Width of an img in kb article

2. Refer: KB1217550 Fix truncated images and tables in Service Portal knowledge articles

Resolution

To display full-width images and tables, modify the container to which the widget instance is added by changing the width from the default setting of Fixed to Fluid.
