Hey all, we're excited to share that we've made some changes to the Washington Field Service Management product documentation based on research conducted over the past several months. The changes include:
- Added a link to FSM release notes and the FSM Community forum from the FSM product documentation landing page (you might need to scroll down the page to see the links).
- Reorganized the configuration topics into the following categories:

Planning your Field Service Management implementation: Contains helpful links for the start of your implementation journey.

Activate Field Service Management: Provides directions for installing the FSM plugin and information about additional FSM related plugins.

Setting up your workforce: This is where you can find user-related Information such as configuring user locations and territories, user groups, skills, crews, and contractors.

Setting up work orders and tasks: Describes how to set up work orders and tasks, including PDF summaries, questionnaires, task notifications, and playbooks.

Setting up inventory and asset management: Contains information about setting up inventory and assets.

Setting up CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace: Describes how to set up the workspaces and portals in the Dispatcher Workspace and the Field Service Territory Planning Console.
- Setting up a Field Service scheduling method: Provides information about setting up Schedule Optimization, Dynamic Scheduling, and other scheduling-related information. We also added a list of key features for each scheduling method to help you determine which scheduling method to use for your workflows.
- Setting up Field Service Mobile Agent: Describes how to configure mobile agent features for service technicians and contractors.
- Integrating Field Service Management with other ServiceNow applications: Contains a brief overview of ServiceNow products that you can integrate with FSM.
- Setting up FSM reports and analytics: Provides information about setting up dashboards and views for monitoring performance and visualizing trends and patterns.
