Star rating survey

Hello,

I want to give a 5-star rating on a poll, the same way knowledge articles are rated. When starting the survey, the 5 stars are not filled. The higher the rating, the more filled-in stars are displayed.
Example: a click on the middle (3rd) star means 3 stars.

As a result, three filled stars are automatically displayed.

Apparently I can't do this in the survey designer. I can set up 5 stars as the image scale, but then I can only mark one star in the preview.

Does anyone here have an idea?

Thanks.

Hi @Rocco K_hling ,

Did you tried using templates in Survey designer??
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/tokyo-servicenow-platform/page/administer/survey-administration/t...

I have used the OOTB templates

1) Satisfactory.  2) Smiley Face

Here is preview

Also there is option to create your own template.

Hope this helps !

Hemant

I am afraid you are on your own on this 😞  my apologies. Depending on your company size, please consider that a user would not remember the incident on the begining of the month if you send the survey 20+ days later . I cant even remember my last weeks breakfast......

It is not based upon any trigger condition of incident. The customer wants to send a satisafatory survey for all his active users per once in a months.

For this we have a created a new record in survey recipients list, where we define the users in script based on our requirement.

currently stuck with that schedule period field and going through documentation.

Hi Rocco,

Could you please provide the solution link for your question. I have to apply the same solution

to my understanding this is not possible in SNOW - I had to go via single stars

I am looking bascially for the same approach - but nothing to be found so far 😞 - users tend to misread the rating a lot for my "happy / sad face " implemention and give us a lot of a bad rating unintentional.
