About this course:

Learn how to maintain information registers, assess ICT incidents, and create reports for regulators with the Digital Operational Resilience Management (DORM) application.

The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) establishes a comprehensive framework to ensure the resilience of financial entities against ICT-related disruptions. The ServiceNow DORM application provides tools to streamline compliance with DORA. DORM helps:

  • Users populate information registers directly or import data via Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate records.
  • Organizations classify ICT incidents to determine whether incidents are reportable to regulators.
  • Risk teams submit timely and accurate reporting to competent authorities, fostering transparency and regulatory alignment.

Objectives:

  • Explore the five pillars of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
  • Populate information registers directly in the Operational Resilience Workspace and by importing data via Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain the contractual arrangements on the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services, that support critical or important functions provided by ICT third-party service providers.
  • Examine the baseline ICT incident reporting workflow.
  • Set up assessments to classify ICT incidents as reportable or non-reportable to regulators, such as DORA competent authorities.
  • Set up assessments to collect the initial, intermediate, and final reports, which will be submitted to regulators, such as the competent authorities (CAs).
