Hello GRC Community! The risk product team has hit the ground running in 2021. We have exciting new functionality released this month!

 

New Features:

1. Regulatory RSS Feed Integration

RSS Feed Integration to Regulatory Change helps keep track of regulatory changes and other updates by enabling you to subscribe to public RSS feeds and bringing that data to your ServiceNow regulatory change management application. 

Key Features:

  • Get Public RSS Feeds data in Servicenow to proactively keep track of changing regulatory landscape
  • Tag your internal regulatory taxonomy with the RSS Feed subscriptions for standardization

System Dependencies:

  • GRC: Regulatory Change Management (com.sn_grc_reg_change)

  • Paris
  • Orlando

 

Enhancements:

1. Risk Management & Advanced Risk

  • Updates the legacy risk management Risk Overview and Risk Overview (PA) to be hidden when the customer migrates to the Advanced Risk application
  • Updated UI when defining group factors for a risk assessment methodology

2. Audit Management & Advanced Audit

  • Added PPM timesheet integration for audit engagements, tasks, milestones, and issues
  • Added functionality to define timecard approvers

3. Business Continuity Management

  • Support for different plan authoring types
  • Ability to link BIA to plan asset/scope
  • Define recovery tasks at plan/recovery strategy/documentation
  • Recovery tasks can be assigned to recovery teams
  • Plan assets are now defined under the 'scope' tab of the plan
  • Support to define plan authoring type in plan templates

4. Regulatory Change Management

  • Support for issue creation while implementing regulatory changes
  • Automatic action task generation to implement changes for impacted policies, control objectives, and risk statements
  • Form updates to Authority Documents and Citations to create a 360-degree view of the regulation defined and the current state compared to changes proposed for implementation

5. Vendor Risk Management

  • Fixed vendor portal upgrade issue. If you have installed a previous version of the GRC: Vendor Portal (accessed using svdp), and then customized it and upgraded it to version 10.1.3 or 11.0.3, the portal may not be functional. Refer to KB0864574 for information and a workaround.

6. Continuous Authorization and Monitoring

  • Updated ability to monitor technology controls using pre-defined automated/scripted indicator templates
