Without a doubt the coolest feature with the SD release, that was also showcased by
There is however something really critical to know if you want to test it out: you need the correct persona for your user to be able to view it. If you go to UI Builder you will see that the Risk Workspace comes in 3 versions. Only the sn_risk_workspace.operational_risk_manager role grants you the persona where this new feature is available.
if you also have sn_risk_workspace.business_op_risk_manager role, your workspace will show the Business Op-Risk Manager home page (it seems to be the "highest" risk persona somehow) - and this one does not have the Heatmap Workbench. If you are only an IT risk manager, you will also not see it.

Hey Sebastain,
Thanks for the appreciation and this is definitely something as a feature we want to use to simplify the risk reporting. Currently as you rightly highlighted the risk heatmap workbench is only accessible for Op-Risk manager. However, in the upcoming Aug'22 release you will see even for Business Op-Risk Manager we will enable heatmap. The reason it is not for that persona is because of a technical enhancement that was needed in the component to accept more filter inputs as for Business Op-Risk Manager generally we will have 1 or more entities as an input for which the filter should be applied. We have enhanced the component to support those use cases and therefore will be enabled in Aug'22 release along with some other interesting enhancements to further simplify risk reporting.
With respect to IT-Risk manager we did not currently embeed it but there are plans in the roadmap to enhance that landing page and we will include the heatmap too. If there is other feedback on the landing page i am happy to hear that too.
Regards,
Utkarsh

Hi Sebastian,
Great post, I appreciated as there is not much on the GRC workbench out there.
Do you happen to know more about the Heatmap? Like what component is used to configure it? If it can be used to display data outside the GRC OOTB app?
Any extra information will be very useful.
Best regards,
Mariana
