Hello Community, I am facing an issue with the name field on the sn_compliance_control (Control) form. I need this field to be editable even after the record has been saved, specifically when the "Inherit from Control Objective" checkbox is checked. Currently, the field becomes read-only after the initial save, which seems to be controlled by existing OOTB (Out-Of-The-Box) client scripts, UI policies, or business rules related to GRC functionality. The system automatically populates the name from the Control Objective, and then locks it. I'm looking for guidance or an alternative approach to allow users to modify the name manually after creation. I have already identified that there are likely a few client scripts and potentially a business rule or ACL making this read-only. I tried adjusting some ACLs but it didn't seem to work as expected. Can you please help to provide precise solution? Appreciate your help.

Hi @sibayanchak ,
This is the client script that controls the read only logic. You can comment out this line however, doing so defeats the purpose of inheritance. You may need to assess the impact before deploying this to production.
Hope this helps!

Hi @hema - This makes editable but immediately after save it gets overwritten. It seems like some business rule is doing this but not sure which one.
