How to use the self service password reset in the Vendor Assessment Portal. "forgot password"?

We have rolled out Vendor Risk Management and are testing the Vendor Assessment Portal (from a Vendor perspective).  When using the "Forgot Password" feature on the login page, everything works fine, except that the email notification is directing the vendor to a password reset page that is outside of the Vendor Assessment Portal.   It is taking them to the native password reset url.  Vendor contacts only have access to: https://clientinstance.service-now.com/svdp. 

My question is: How are Vendor Contacts supposed to use the "Forgot Password" feature?

@Cindy Dixon Did you find any solution for this? have you had any chance to redirect vendor portal after password reset? I am experiencing the same issue.

Have the same issue 'when resetting password tried by vendor contacts using the forgot password functionality, its not working' Do we have any solution for resetting password for vendor contacts. Please let me know if there is any workaround!
