Are you logged in as System Administrator? If so, there should be no problem impersonating another user and no emails are involved.

Hi @Ademola Nafiu
There won't be any problem in impersonating any user if you logged in as an admin(ensure you are having the admin role for impersonation).
Usually system does not send any messages to the person to be impersonated.
If you want to know the impersonated logs. You can foloow below steps @Ademola Nafiu
- Navigating to System log > All.
- Type "*impersona" in the Message column and press Enter.
- You will see the history of impersonations in the system log by looking for messages like: "Impersonation start:" "Impersonation end:"
If my response helps you in solving your query please mark it as accepted solution and helpful.
Thanks&Regards,
