Hi,
While we generate Risks from Risk Statements. Just wondering if there is way to move risk state from Monitor back to Draft automatically, like how we do it for Controls?
I don't think there is any frequency concept in Risk Management App as such, hence, the ask.
Please let me know if there is a way to change risk state automatically.
Regards,
Rohit

Hi Rohit,
I agree with Utkarsh, the Advanced Risk Assessment capability would definitively resolve your problem and keep it OOTB.
Now, for customers who do not have access to the Advanced Risk module, it is frequent to resolve this in 2 ways:
- Add a frequency field in the Risk Record and use the value of this field to automate with a Business Rule the move to Draft and to Assess, so that a new Assessment is automatically sent.
- Add a 'Next Assessment' date field into the Risk Record and use this field to automate with a Business Rule the move to Draft and to Assess, so that a new Assessment is automatically sent.
I have seen many customers configuring their Risk module like that.

Eric

I dont think there is anything OOB.
But you can create a scheduled job, like we have in control to move the control back the draft after certain time. You may need to create a frequency field like we have in control.
And then use the last assessment creation date and create the frequency.
The scheduled job used in control is Control attestation nightly run.
But any particular reason for moving it back to draft.
If you want to reassess the risk, you should perhaps use indicators for that.
Please mark this response as correct or helpful if it assisted you with your question.

Hi Sanjiv,
Yes you are right we can leverage Indicators for risks but that is more for monitoring than testing / assessing in my opinion. But i like the idea what you are recommending which is to configure Risk form and set-up few rules based on which risk can be moved back to Draft / Assess state like what we have in Controls.
Thanks,
Rohit

Hi Rohit,
I get what you are getting to. If you are looking to reassess the risk you should check out the Advanced Risk Assessments packaged in Advanced Risk Application. It has capability to reassess the risk based on frequency as you are looking for.

Hi Utkarsh,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I know about the capability around ARM app but the use case i am trying to address here is, using RM app only i need to see how can i reassess my risks on a periodic basis? Right now it seems to be cumbersome and time consuming. Moreover ARM app will have significant license implications as my client is looking only for basic RM capabilities and not something as advanced as ARM app.
Kindly let me know if there is something available in RM app which i can leverage instead of extending it to ARM app.
Regards,
Rohit
