1) HAM: If I have 1000 servers in CMDB, does it mean I will consume 1000 licenses in HAM? or it only consider Physical servers?

1 a) If I have a laptop with MS Office installed, will that laptop be counted as an end-user computers and also be included as a subscription users? In other words, would the same user consume two different licenses?

1) Having 1,000 servers in the CMDB doesn't by itself mean 1,000 HAM licenses. What counts is whether each server has a corresponding asset record in alm_asset that falls in an opted-in resource category and is in an active state.

For model records that represent virtual machines, you can set the Asset tracking strategy field to 'Don't create assets'. Going forward, this prevents asset records from being created for CIs that match that model. Any VM assets that already exist aren't removed by this change, so those would need to be reviewed and  cleaned up separately.

1a) For HAM, the laptop counts based on its asset record (category and state), not on who it's assigned to or what software is installed on it.
