making Stockroom in-active

I want to make HAM stockroom in-active. There is no lifecycle field or active check box. How to make it inactive ?

Only way I could see is : 1. Move all the assets to other stockroom

2. Remove stock rules and other functionality

3. Stop using that stockroom

Please suggest any other option to inactive the stock room ?

@Jenish2 I would suggest you not delete the stockroom because historical asset and inventory records may still reference it.

The safest approach as you mentioned is correct to:

✅ Empty the stockroom
✅ Disable stock rules/replenishment activities
✅ Rename it as "Inactive/Obsolete"
✅ Exclude it from selection through a reference qualifier (optional customization)

So, from an OOTB HAM perspective, there is no additional deactivation mechanism beyond retiring its usage, and your proposed approach is essentially the standard practice.
