New versus deprecated hardware audit functionaltiy?

Does anyone know of good documentation or a good webinar covering the differences in functionality before and after setting the sn_hamp.migrate_hamaudit system property to true? I understand that it audits to different tables, but I want to understand more technically what happens and, more importantly, why we should look at switching to the new audit functionality? So far what I've been able to learn is that you can't see audit results in the Core UI anymore after changing the system property to true, but I'd like to understand what the benefits are.

It is in the Australia release note, because Australia will be shipped with the version 15 of sn_hamp and it's available for early availability customers already. More or less at the same time the Q1 store release was published. This might also explain why the documentation including Yokohama was updated, because these are the supported versions right now.

I guess you have already updated sn_hamp from version 14x. to 15.0.0 on your Zurich instance, correct?

Yes, I have already updated sn_hamp to version 15.

I checked earlier today to see if there were any additional details available, but I couldn’t find anything beyond what’s in the documentation or release notes.

You might submit your question to the HAM office hours later this month. I suppose more information might be released with the GA of Australia.
