Anonymous Report Center (ARC)

What is ARC?

Employees can submit sensitive complaints or misconduct cases anonymously using the Anonymous Report Center (ARC) portal.

Your employees can use the ARC to:

Hi Sandeep,

Can you please let me know how will ARC know if the user raising the ER case is legitimate employee of the organisation or not. Since clicking on the ARC widget actually logs out the user and opens the ARC portal. Let me know if any such configuration is in place to verify.

Hi Charishma,

Let's take a step back here and try to understand that only the legitimate users can login to Employee Center and then when they click on ARC it logs them out and gives another platform to report their grievances.

Thanks,
Sandeep

Hi Sandeep,

Sure does makes sense. What in case if I provide the direct link of ARC portal to an outsider. Will they still be able to access ARC to raise a case. Is there any checkpoint in such scenario.

Hi Charishma,

It's a Very good question i must say !!

Yes, if you provide the direct link of ARC to an outsider, they will be able to access ARC and raise a Case too.

There is no Checkpoint here as of now. so, if you want to share the direct link please be cautious from your end.

Mark my answer correct & Helpful, if Applicable.

Thanks,
Sandeep

Hi Sandeep,

We have added few extra variables to the Record Producer and the issue here is we are unable to see the rich text labels on the catalog. Also even the variable sets are not visible on the catalog too. I have admin rights though.

Appreciate your help here.

Thanks!

To be clear my idea/question was to have this available for external folks to report on issues by employees.

Hi @David Nottingha ,

Any user with the ARC url can access it , the user (if internal employee) is signed out and the request under guest user id.Unfortunately, we cannot check for roles as Guest user doesn’t has a role and for doing any kind of role check the user has to log in. There’s no way of identifying internal vs external user access until they log in.

So Reporting is not possible any way !!

Hi @David Nottingha

External people can access ARC to submit misconduct about employees, if they have the URL.

Can someone please confirm on the HRSD package requirement for activating ARC or share the link to the information. To activate ARC (com.sn_anonymous_report_center) for employee relations cases- Do we need separate subscription/is it a paid plugin?  or does it come with HRSD professional package? Any dependency etc.?

@Wdeepika HRSD Pro is the minimal HRSD package for ARC. You can also get it with Legal Service Delivery where it is specifically called out in the legal investigations Practice application documentation.

Would anyone have guidance on how to change the image in the ARC?  Customer would like to replace the OOTB with new image?  The Branding Editor lets us change the logo, color scheme, etc, but cannot figure out how/if it's possible to change the background image?  Any ideas?

@Colleen Lowe - it is set on the ARC homepage. If you open it in Page Designer, click on the "Container" for the banner and select the pencil icon to edit, then you can update the background image.
