Attachment file name

When i was attaching a file with the name consisting of & it is reflecting as &amp can anyone help me how to remove &amp in the file name. E.g: file name as servicenow & ..... it is reflecting as servicenow &amp ....

that's OOB behavior and I don't think we can control it.

the & is converted to & and shown

In the backend the file name still contains &

You might have to customize OOB attachment UI page to handle special characters and not only just &

I won't recommend that

Hi @Community Alums,

it's ServiceNow OOB behavior and I don't think we can control it and ServiceNow not recommended to do it.

there is a recommendation of KB article which asked not to implement on OOB.
