Campaigns for Employee Events

Hi everyone! Does anyone use campaigns (Content Experiences) for mass employee events like yearly policy/handbook signatures? We’d like to use a campaign for this but were recently told by a SN rep that any content in a campaign schedule with a “to-do” trigger/stage type cannot be sent more than once to an employee, even if we were to clone and resend the campaign.

 

We’d really like to use the “to-do” trigger/stage type so employees could view instructions or receive an email first before getting their assigned campaign tasks (looking at 1-3 bundles of content in a single campaign).

 

We anticipate that some employees will not complete the campaign on time and if we cannot clone and resend the campaign or task, we will need to manually keep recreating and resending the campaign content to employees until they have completed them.

 

Has anyone has success using campaigns for something similar and can share their work around?

Workaround -Create New Content Library 
1. Clone your campaign.
2. Navigate to your Content Library (Content Publishing) and create a brand new content record for the To-Do instruction/task. (Even if it has the exact same text, it must be a newly inserted record with a different sys_id).
3. In your cloned campaign stage, remove the original To-Do content item and link the newly created Content Library item.
 
 
Remind via Flow Designer
 
If your primary concern is employees not completing the campaign on time and you want to avoid recreating content manually for late submittals:
• Keep your initial campaign stage set to trigger the To-Do task.
• Build a simple Flow Designer flow triggered when a record is created on the campaign target table (sn_ca_target).
• Have the flow wait for a specific duration (e.g., 7 days). If the campaign task is still incomplete, the flow can programmatically fire nudge emails, send even escalate a reminder to the employee's manager—bypassing the need to clone or restart the campaign entirely.
