Contextual search on an HRSD Record Producer

I have an HR Record Producer that I would like to use contextual search on.  I have added a variable short_description and have the check box selected for "enable related search box" on the HR table configuration.  I've also created a custom variable that references the out of the box macro cxs_rp_search and widget Contextual Search - Inline Results.  Does anyone know if these macro/widgets are only for incident? 

I am unable to get this to work so I'm assuming I'm missing something.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Not 100%, but have you already also ensured you have created a Table Configuration record for it? https://[instance].service-now.com/now/nav/ui/classic/params/target/cxs_table_config_list.do
