How can approver can modify few HR case field values before approving in ESC portal?

Hi All,
Actually when the HR case is submitted , with some fields then it went for approval, so i have added few fields to that "My task" section for approver view, so here customer wants to edit those fields and update new values if needed before approving the case in esc portal?
Please help me on this

@Deepika61 OOTB widget associated with approvals doesn't allow updating the fields shown on the approval record. You need to build your own custom widget if you wish to allow changes. However, I would not prefer to go down that path and instead go back to the product/process owner as to why they would like to allow changing the fields for a record which is being approved/rejected here.
Basically, with this change you will allow the approvers to make changes in the original request without even taking consent from the original requestor which may go against their interests.

Basically they want like 3 specific fields needs to edit to make sure the those are with right information ,
As a learner i want to know to where we need to change this on that particular script, can you please provide those things?
is that minimul change or much customization needed for this?

Hi Deepika,
This will be quite a lot of customization to get the widget worked as per your use case. Suggest is to leave it OOB as it exists.
What is the actual use case where approver needs to update details that requestor has submitted a ticket with? Ideally, it is a manipulation of data which may/may not be accepted by requestor as we are overriding the details submitted originally.
