How can we apply HR template for For HR task when task manually created?

Hi All,

Basically when i create a case from backend, once it is submitted i want to create HR task manually , So I want to apply HR template for the HR task to auto populate Description and Short description automatically ?

Please help me to solve this

I'm not sure I understand the question.   Do you want the HR Task to auto generate when the Case is created from a record producer? or are you trying to use the HR Task Type of 'HR service' to ask a user to create a new case using a specific service?

No i want one of the field of hr case like hr service name to auto populate in hr case. but this is not happening have created template and provided field hr service and given name . also in service configuration i have provided the template name.

Oh, so you want to pull in fields from the HR Case to the HR Task.   You have to use ${parent.<fieldname>} in the short description or description.   For HR service, it would look like this ${parent.hr_service}

When the case is saved the first time, it will convert to the actual values, but you do have to use the Template field and not the Template Bar to apply the template to the HR Task for this to work.

If you want the HR Task to link to the record producer of an HR Service so when the assigned to sees the task on the portal, then in the template record itself, you would set the HR Task Type to HR service and then the HR Service to the name of the service as some of the field settings, like this:
