Hello everyone,
I got a bit confused regarding the application scope to be used when creating a Lifecycle Event and the HR Service that triggers it.
I'm building a LE for on/offboarding and looking for best practices or what to take into consideration when creating the LE and its HR Service because what I experienced so far looks a bit confusing.
Even on the training instances, some Lifecycle Events are in the Journey Designer scope, other are in the HR: Lifecycle Enterprise (both regarding onboarding). Their HR Services are in the Journey Designer and the HR: Lifecycle Events scope.
I would put both of them in the HR: Lifecyle Events scope however. As far as I understand it should be ok if I stay inside the sn_hr... scope but do I make my case more difficult if I use the Journey Designer [sn_jny] scope? (In my project I heavily rely on Lifecycle Events functionality.)
Thank you,
Karoly

@karoly_gersi I recommend you to stick to Human Resources Lifecycle Event scope for creation of your HR Services which involve a lifecycle event (Onboarding/Offboarding/Promotion etc.). In case if any cross scope access is needed, you can always allow the access via Application Restricted Caller Access module.

Thank you. This indeed looks the safest way.

Can you also please confirm what should be scope for child services which are part of Lifecycle Event HR Service? Is it best practice to use Lifecycle Event scope or HR Core Scope?

@Roopa6 If the Services have nothing to do with Lifecycle event scope (meaning they do not trigger any lifecycle event)then they should be part of the HR Core scope.
