My requests search is not working - ESC Portal

Hi everyone, hope you are doing well!

 

The search functionality on the My requests tab on Employee Center Core is not working. 

The widget should be: My Requests

Whenever I try to seach for a number or a key word it always returns "Search didn't match any requests" (See image below - Image 1: case example and Image 2: After search)

Anyone knows why this is happening?

Hi @SNOWTechie ,

 

We had a case open with ServiceNow for 1 year and 2 months and it was closed this week!

We had an index on the sn_hr_core_case table, which was causing a wrong index in the system, so by deleting it and re-indexing the task table , which is parent table, it is now working !

Hi @rafas_2703 ,

You will need to Search requests by entering a complete word or record number in the search bar.

Even if I search for the HR Case number or complete phrase it returns empty.

 

And it's the OOB widget by the way

Hi @rafas_2703 ,

This leads to the understanding that the Search Sources are not configured to return the right results.

PLease create the search source to get the data of HR cases into Employee center.

Follow the steps from this doc : Define a search source

Did the issue fix? if yes, pls let me know as well what changes you have done. I am also facing same for Demand Number.
