Not able to add widget in dashboard created in human resources core scope

Hello All,

We are unable to add widgets to the dashboard created in the Human Resources Core scope.
We observed that once the sn_hr_core.admin role is assigned, the user is able to add widgets.
However, this should not be required, as the user already has the pa admin role.

Please help resolve this issue

Regards,

Shweta

Hi Shweta,

Dashboards created in the sn_hr_core scope are protected by HR-specific ACLs so having pa_admin alone isn’t enough to modify them.

The sn_hr_core.admin role is required to add or edit widgets in HR-scoped dashboards. This is by design due to HR data security and scope isolation.

If you want to avoid assigning that role, consider creating the dashboard in Global scope instead.

Hope that helps my friend!
